Did camping do the world a favour in the long run?

Did Camping do the world a favour in the long run?

I don't think anyone will burn their bible today or anything, but rather this is just yet one more incident that makes theists look stupid. After a while people more closely examining religion will probably see it as foolish|||Hopefully he will have taught people not to hand their hard earned savings over to a person they don't even know, who makes 'loosely interpreted' claims he 'decoded' from the bible. Come on, folks. Really? lol.|||No. Some people lost their life savings to help promote this nut job. Many gave up their day jobs to go on those campaign ban-wagons to spread the world, forsaking their family's college funds in the process. It did a horrible injustice to those poor folk whose crime was being to gullible. It is a perfect example of the snake oil salesman getting away at the expense of others.|||Nah - there'll always be folks who believe this kind of fear-mongering.

I'm just worried about the number of terrified young teens I've seen who have never experienced this before.

.|||Dude no one even considers that Camp tent an actual straight-thinking person anymore.

But sure, if it makes the theists look even more stupid then suit yourself.|||Well not only that but with all the hype about the "world ending" and it not happening mabye it will make the 2012 issue go away a little bit!|||And how. Most people had never heard of this crazy Rapture thing. The part about the date was trivial, compared to exposing this nutty "theology"|||Yes he did.He helped proved that the Bible is correct when it says that no man knows the day or the hour when Christ will return for His church.|||No he only did atheists a favor. If he is a fool then isn't that what atheists are?
