What numbers did Harold Camping pick and how did he decide those numbers for the end of the world?

Harold Camping says the world will end May 21, 2011. I would like to know what numbers and how he decided on those numbers and why he chose to multiply them and where in the bible it says that is how to figure out Judgement day? Regardless whether you believe it or not..I just want to know how he came to this conclusion..thanks|||Harold Camping has a very liberal view concerning certain biblical prophecies, as well as other parts. For example, he claims that the world is about 12,000 years old because, instead of reading the genealogical data plainly (Seth was born when Adam was 130, and Adam died at the age of 930) he reads it so that the father "prophesied" the birth of the son, then the son was born later (reading it as Adam prophesied the birth of Seth when he was 130, and Seth was born when Adam was 930).

His calculations also involve an alternate view of prophecies from the book of Daniel as well. I listened to his radio program for a while until I realized how messed up in the head this guy is. His church (and by "his church" I mean the church that he runs) doesn't even have a pastor because he won't hire one who doesn't agree with his views.|||Anyone who says the world will "end" is wrong and retarded. Don't be mad. People cant help that they're retarded.

The world will never "end".

The rapture will happen.

The tribulation will happen.

The judgment will happen.

New Jerusalem will be put down on a remade earth. Not a destroyed one.|||He made the same claim several years ago %26amp; the date he chose came and went.

I have no idea what math he is using but the fact is that on May 22, 2011 he will be full of all kinds of excuses for his failure. Then he will set a new date.

He is a false teacher.|||Is Harold Camping still around ???

He is way off the Page....Thank you for calling !
